Delhi NCR's actual water conditions cannot be understood through generic online advice.
TDS levels can swing from around 800 ppm to over 2500 ppm depending on the zone,
borewell depth and seasonal groundwater table.
Groundwater can be hard and high in TDS, especially across East Delhi, parts of Noida
and outer Delhi belts. Municipal water can also face contamination issues in industrial
zones because of ageing pipelines.
Kara Aqua has handled systems ranging from a 500 LPH unit for a small printing press in Preet Vihar to a 5000 LPH industrial plant running 18 hours a day for a manufacturing unit in Noida. A proper site assessment and installation is therefore essential before selecting a plant.
At some client sites, source-water TDS has crossed 2800 ppm. Installing a plant that is not designed for such conditions — without a proper AMC and maintenance plan in place — can lead to membrane choking within 4-6 months, recovery dropping from around 60% to under 35%, and production downtime.
